Taylor Tomlinson Tour 2027: All 22 Dates, and the Club Run Where the Hour Is Actually Being Built
Taylor Tomlinson's Nobody Asked You To Do That Tour runs Thursday, February 4, 2027 at the First Interstate Center for the Arts in Spokane through Saturday, May 22, 2027 at the Taft Theatre in Cincinnati. That is 22 theater dates in 22 cities, announced September 15, promoted by Outback Presents. Presale opened September 16 with the code NOBODY; general on-sale is Friday, September 18 at 10 a.m. local time, with one exception — Salt Lake City does not go on sale until September 25.
Here is the part the announcement doesn't tell you: the hour those theaters are buying is being written right now, in front of a few hundred people at a time, in six clubs between Brooklyn and San Jose. Those shows are on sale too, and they are a completely different night out.
What Was Announced, and What It Costs You to Wait
This is billed as the first leg, not the whole tour. Twenty-two cities across February, March, April and May is a light theater routing by Tomlinson's standards — in 2023 she had the seventh highest-grossing comedy tour in the world and was the only woman in the global top ten — and the calendar has obvious holes in it. There is nothing in California, nothing in Texas outside San Antonio, nothing in the Southeast below Charlotte, and no New York City date at all. A second leg is the reasonable expectation.
What that means practically: if your city isn't below, waiting is not the same as losing. If your city is below, note that the routing is built almost entirely on Friday–Saturday pairs, one region per weekend, with two- and three-week gaps in between. There are no added second shows on this leg yet, and no sold-out markers as of today — general on-sale hasn't happened.

Two venue names to watch for when you search. Asheville is ticketed as Harrah's Cherokee Center — Thomas Wolfe Auditorium is the hall inside it. Raleigh is ticketed as the Martin Marietta Center for the Performing Arts; Raleigh Memorial Auditorium is the hall inside that. Same shows, two different names depending on which site you land on.
The Workshop Run: Six Clubs, and It Starts Tonight
Separate from the theater tour, and much more interesting if you live in one of these six cities, Tomlinson is doing a run of club dates billed as Taylor Tomlinson: Tries Out New Ideas. These are small rooms, multiple shows a night, notebook-in-hand sets. She released Prodigal Daughter on Netflix in February 2026 — her fourth special, taped at Fountain Street Church in Grand Rapids — which means the hour that will fill those theaters in 2027 does not exist yet. This is where it gets made.

Union Hall in Brooklyn is six shows across three nights, ending Saturday, and they are gone. Brea and Sacramento are two shows a night. The DC Improv run is six shows across four nights in January, and it is the last club stop before the theaters start.
One listing we cannot stand behind: several ticket resellers show a Helium Comedy Club Portland, Oregon run on December 6–9. It is not on Helium Portland's own calendar, which is otherwise publishing events through late December. Until the club posts it, treat it as unconfirmed rather than a date to plan around.
Four September Dates That Are Not Stand-Up Shows
Tomlinson's first book, an essay collection called Actually, Nevermind, is out September 22 from Gallery Books, and the book tour overlaps the comedy dates closely enough that ticketing feeds have blurred them together. Our own listings currently show two of these as stand-up shows. They are not.

- Thu, Sep 24 — Athenaeum Center, Chicago: book event, listed on our site as Athenaeum Theatre.
- Fri, Sep 25 — Third Place Books, Lake Forest Park, WA and Fri, Oct 2 — Barnes & Noble at The Grove, Los Angeles: signings.
If you bought the Merkin or Athenaeum ticket expecting an hour of jokes, you did not buy that. It's a good event; it's a different event.
What Our Listings Are Missing Right Now
We pull from ticketing feeds, and a feed only carries what is already on sale. The theater leg announced two days ago goes on public sale tomorrow, so as of today our Taylor Tomlinson page has 10 of the 22 new dates, not 22.
Present: Boise, Asheville, Raleigh, Columbus, Charlotte, Hershey, Indianapolis, Rochester, Detroit, Cincinnati.
Not there yet: Spokane, Salt Lake City, Burlington, Portland (ME), San Antonio, Richmond, Cleveland, Baltimore, Cedar Rapids, Des Moines, Nashville and Pittsburgh. All twelve are confirmed by the tour announcement, and several by the venues themselves — Des Moines Civic Center has April 24 at 7 p.m. on its own calendar, Hershey Theatre has April 2 at 7 p.m., ArtTix has the Salt Lake City show in Delta Hall at 7 p.m. They should populate within a day or two of the general on-sale.
Three club gaps as well: our listings have Union Hall on September 17 and 19 but not the 18th, Helium Philadelphia on November 2 but not November 1 or 3, and nothing at all for the DC Improv in January. The table above is the fuller picture until the feeds catch up.

Is this the whole tour?
No. Both the announcement and the promoter call it the first leg. With no California, Texas outside San Antonio, Southeast below Charlotte, or New York City date on the calendar, more dates are a reasonable expectation rather than a guarantee.
What is the difference between this tour and the "Tries Out New Ideas" shows?
Tries Out New Ideas is the club run — small rooms, several shows a night, new material still being assembled and discarded in real time. Nobody Asked You To Do That is the 2027 theater tour with that hour finished. If you want the polished show, that starts in February.
Is Taylor Tomlinson still hosting After Midnight?
No. She hosted the CBS late-night show from its January 2024 premiere through June 2025, then left to go back to stand-up full time; CBS ended the show after her departure. She has said touring is her first passion, which is roughly what the last year of her calendar looks like.
What is her most recent special?
