Anthony Jeselnik's Wrath of Man tour opens Friday, September 11 at the Moore Theatre in Seattle and closes the year Saturday, December 19 at the Celebrity Theatre in Phoenix. The first leg is 20 dates in 17 cities, all of them theaters, and his official schedule still says "more cities to come."
Here is the thing nobody has pointed out about this routing: every single date falls on a Thursday, Friday, or Saturday. Not one weeknight show in the entire leg. Jeselnik isn't crossing the country in a straight line — he's flying out for eight self-contained regional weekends and going home in between. That has a practical consequence for anyone buying a ticket, and we'll get to it.
Jeselnik announced the tour on June 8, 2026, with presale tickets opening June 10 and general on-sale June 11. It's his first road work since the sold-out Bones and All tour of 2023–2024, which became his third Netflix special. Venues are billing Wrath of Man as an entirely new hour, not a reshuffle of material people have already streamed.
The Eight Weekend Blocks
Once you see the pattern, the schedule reads completely differently. Each block is two or three consecutive nights in one region:
- Pacific Northwest (Sep 11–12) — Seattle, then Portland
- Northeast (Sep 24–26) — Port Chester, then two nights in Philadelphia
- Midwest (Oct 8–10) — Indianapolis, Ann Arbor, Milwaukee
- Southeast (Oct 22–24) — Greenville, Athens, Charlotte
- Gulf Coast (Nov 5) — New Orleans, the only standalone date on the leg
- Northern California (Nov 19–21) — Santa Rosa, then two nights in San Francisco
- Florida (Dec 3–5) — Hollywood, then two nights in Tampa
- Southwest (Dec 18–19) — San Diego, then Phoenix
The practical upshot: if your city is on this leg, the neighboring city almost certainly is too, on an adjacent night. Missing the Milwaukee Saturday doesn't mean waiting a year — Ann Arbor was the night before. That flexibility is unusual, and it's worth checking before you pay a resale premium.

Two Dates Our Listings Are Missing
We check this site's own data against official sources before publishing, and this time the check caught gaps on our end rather than errors in the wild. Two dates on Jeselnik's official schedule were not in our listings when this post went up:
- Friday, October 23 at The Classic Center Theatre in Athens, Georgia. Confirmed on the Classic Center's own event calendar. It sits between the Greenville and Charlotte dates and is plainly part of the Southeast weekend.
- Friday, December 4 at Carol Morsani Hall in Tampa. The Straz Center runs two consecutive Tampa nights, December 4 and 5, both at 7 p.m. Our data had only the Saturday.
Both are real. They should appear on the Anthony Jeselnik tour page as our feeds catch up, but if you're in Athens or Tampa, buy from the venue and don't wait on an aggregator to notice.
One naming quirk while you're searching: the Philadelphia shows are at the Miller Theater, which is part of the Kimmel Cultural Campus, so some listings file the same room under the campus name. Same theater either way. The second Philadelphia night was added after the first sold out, and per Jeselnik's official schedule that added Saturday is now sold out as well.
The Hollywood Improv Nights Are Not Tour Dates
Jeselnik is also on several Tonight at the Improv bills at the Hollywood Improv in September — a long-running Los Angeles showcase where working comics drop in to build material. Currently he's listed for September 15, 17, 22, and 29.
Do not buy those expecting Wrath of Man. A showcase set is fifteen or twenty minutes on a bill with five or six other comics, often testing jokes that aren't finished. It's a legitimately great way to see him cheap and up close, and it's the opposite of what you get at the Moore or the Masonic. Showcase lineups also change constantly, sometimes the day of the show, so treat any specific name on a drop-in bill as provisional — including his.
There is no Wrath of Man Los Angeles theater date on the schedule yet. Given that "more cities to come" note, that's a likely addition to a later leg.
What to Expect From the Hour
Jeselnik's method hasn't changed in fifteen years and doesn't need to: tight one-liners built on misdirection, delivered in a persona so arrogant and amoral that the joke is usually the gap between the character and the man writing him. He's the rare comic whose act is closer to formal poetry than storytelling — the setups are short, every word is load-bearing, and the laugh comes from a single pivot in the final clause.
That density is why the theater dates matter more than usual for him. A Wrath of Man ticket buys a full hour of material that has never been streamed, from a comic who releases specials roughly every four or five years — Thoughts and Prayers in 2015, Fire in the Maternity Ward in 2019, Bones and All in 2024. If the pattern holds, this hour ends up on Netflix somewhere around the end of the decade. Seeing it live is a genuinely different proposition than waiting.
