Cobb's Comedy Club

Cobb's Comedy Club has been a pillar of San Francisco stand-up since 1982, and from its current home in North Beach it operates one of the larger dedicated club rooms on the West Coast. Where its sister scene-anchor the Punch Line trades on intimacy, Cobb's gives touring headliners a proper big room without losing the club feel.

The booking runs deep: virtually every major touring comic of the last four decades has played Cobb's, and it remains a regular stop for names between theater tours as well as a favorite spot for taping albums and specials.

Together with the Punch Line, Cobb's keeps San Francisco — one of the great historical stand-up cities — supplied with national headliners every week of the year. Shows are ticketed through standard outlets, and weekend runs frequently sell out.
