Gianmarco Soresi's Misery Loves Tour: UK, Nordics, Istanbul, and a US Run to Close 2026
Gianmarco Soresi announced The Misery Loves Tour on August 11, 2026. It launches September 30 at Town Hall Birmingham and closes December 19 at the Moore Theatre in Seattle, covering nine UK cities, Dublin, Copenhagen, Stockholm, announced stops in Norway and Istanbul, and a US leg that runs from mid-November into December.
It is by some distance the biggest run of his career, and the venues say so: the London Palladium, Dublin's 3Olympia, Los Angeles' Orpheum. Soresi spent the last few years as one of the most-clipped comedians on the internet — crowd work videos, a debut hour called Thief of Joy that the New York Times called "superb" and that cleared two million views inside two weeks — and this is the tour where that following gets cashed in on rooms of two and three thousand seats.
He is doing it directly off the back of a Fringe run. Soresi is in Edinburgh right now with Theater Adult (WIP), a work-in-progress hour at Underbelly Bristo Square running August 17–30.

Norway and Istanbul are announced but not yet dated. The tour's own announcement confirms stops in Norway and a Turkish date in Istanbul, and both fit the October gap around the Nordic dates. Neither has a venue or an on-sale we could confirm at the time of writing, so they are not listed above.

Both early shows in Boston are already sold out, as is most of the San Jose Improv engagement — only the Wednesday opener there still had tickets when we checked.
Before the Tour: Two September Club Dates
These land ahead of the tour proper and are worth separating out:

- Tuesday, September 22 — Fremont Theater, San Luis Obispo, CA
The Eugene run is a full club week — 7:00 PM Wednesday, then early and late shows Thursday through Saturday — and every showtime is gone. San Luis Obispo is billed as a Misery Loves date and is the only West Coast theater stop before the tour crosses to the UK.
What Is Not Part of This Tour
Three Brooklyn dates show up on ticketing sites alongside the tour and are a different show entirely.
The Silver Lining with Gianmarco Soresi is his recurring new-material night, where he works out unfinished bits and brings on guest comedians. It plays The Bell House on September 7, November 29, and December 8, and it is not The Misery Loves Tour — you will not see the polished hour there. That is arguably the appeal, but buy accordingly.
The Edinburgh dates split the same way. Theater Adult (WIP) at Underbelly Bristo Square (August 17–30) is the work-in-progress hour about his musical-theater upbringing. Separately, a one-off billed as The Misery Loves Tour at McEwan Hall on August 27 sold out — a single big-room Fringe night rather than part of the run.
Where the Listings Disagree
Eugene is September 16–19, not 16–20. Several aggregators still carry the original dates. Olsen Run's own page states the engagement was rescheduled to 9/16–9/19 after a scheduling conflict. If you are holding a ticket for a date that no longer exists, that is why.
The Nordic dates are missing from most US listings. Copenhagen and Stockholm are confirmed by the venues themselves — DR Koncerthuset on October 25, China Teatern on October 26 — but neither shows up in the North American ticketing feeds that most tour-date sites pull from.
Dublin is two shows, not one. The 3Olympia lists a 6:30 PM and a 9:30 PM performance on October 28. Most aggregated listings show only the early one.

What to Expect
Soresi's stand-up runs fast and loud, and it is built around a specific tension: he is a musical-theater kid by training — a BFA, a high school Seymour in Little Shop of Horrors — doing material that is frequently bleak. The mismatch between the delivery, which is all Broadway upswing, and the content, which is not, is most of the engine.
The other half is crowd work, and it is genuinely improvised rather than the pre-loaded kind. That is what made the clips travel, and it is why the club dates matter on a theater tour: rooms like San Jose Improv and the Eugene run give him a crowd close enough to actually talk to.
Worth noting what he is not doing: no arena dates, no residency, no six-month grind. The Misery Loves Tour is roughly eleven weeks of touring spread across three months, with the US leg compressed into five weekends.
