Eric Andre's Subtle tour opens Wednesday, March 10, 2027 at the Majestic Theatre in San Antonio and closes Sunday, August 15 at the Orpheum Theater in New Orleans. That is 40 dates in 40 different cities — not one city repeats — announced Tuesday, October 20, and general on-sale is tomorrow — Friday, October 23, at 10 a.m. local time. The artist presale opened October 21 with the code DICKWOLF, and a Live Nation All Access presale has been running today on select dates.

It is his first announced theater run since the 2023 Eric Andre Explosion tour. Stretched across five months it looks like a marathon, but the calendar is not built that way at all.

Forty Dates, Twelve Bursts, Three Real One-Offs

Lay the schedule out and the five-month span collapses into twelve short blocks of consecutive or near-consecutive nights, separated by gaps of two to six weeks. Three of them run five nights straight:

Four more run four nights: New England on Apr 15–18, the Pacific Northwest on May 19–22, Arizona into Southern California on Jun 23–27, and the Florida-to-Louisiana block that closes the tour on Aug 12–15 — West Palm Beach, St. Petersburg, Orlando, New Orleans.

Only three nights on the whole tour stand alone: Honolulu on April 2, Denver on June 5, and New York on August 6. Everything else has a show either the night before or the night after.

That matters if you are deciding which city to drive to. A five-night Midwest run in July means the nearest alternative to a sold-out Chicago show is one night away in Madison or Minneapolis, not one month away.

The Orpheum in New Orleans puts its own doors at 6:00 p.m. for a 7:00 p.m. show. Nashville and Washington have no time attached yet.

The Club Run Happening Right Now Is the Same Show

This is the part the announcement coverage mostly skipped. Andre is already on the road with an hour called Subtle, and he has been working it in comedy clubs this fall. Wiseguys in Salt Lake City is billing its run — tonight through Saturday, October 22–24, two shows a night — as "Eric André: Subtle," the same title as the 2027 theater tour.

The club leg continues after that, and it is a separate thing from the 40 dates above:

  • Nov 5–7 — The Comedy Attic, Bloomington, IN
  • Nov 13–15 — Skankfest, New Orleans, LA (festival, not a club stand)
  • Nov 20–22 — Miami Improv, Miami, FL
  • Dec 4–5 — Bricktown Comedy Club, Tulsa, OK
  • Dec 10–12 — Funny Bone, Manchester, CT
  • Jan 14–16, 2027 — Spokane Comedy Club, WA
  • Feb 18–20, 2027 — Funny Bone, Omaha, NE

So the practical read is that the theater tour is where a year of club work lands, and there is a two-week gap between the last club stand in Omaha and the tour opener in San Antonio. If you want the club-sized version of this hour, the window closes in February.

Honolulu Is Not on Friday's On-Sale

April 2 at Blue Note Hawaii is the only date on the theater schedule that is not a theater, and it behaves differently in two ways. It is the only date with two performances on one night, and Blue Note sells its own tickets — the show is already up on Blue Note Hawaii's own calendar, with no showtime published yet, rather than waiting on Friday's Ticketmaster on-sale. If Honolulu is your date, watch the venue, not the general on-sale.

Four other listing details worth stating plainly:

  • Detroit on July 25 has no venue yet. The announcement lists the city with the room TBA. His last two Detroit stops were both at the Fillmore, but nothing has been confirmed for this one.
  • Atlanta is the Tabernacle, not an arena. One presale aggregator has the April 24 date at State Farm Arena. Ticketmaster, the Citi presale listing and the announcement itinerary all say Tabernacle Presented by iTHINK Financial, so that is what we have listed; the aggregator looks wrong.
  • "San Diego" is El Cajon. The June 27 date is The Magnolia, a Live Nation-run theater of about 1,200 seats at 210 E Main Street in El Cajon, roughly 15 miles east of downtown San Diego. The itinerary bills the city as San Diego; the drive is not nothing.
  • Two different "Oaklands." May 19 is the Fox Theater in Oakland, California. July 22 is Carnegie Music Hall of Oakland, which is in the Oakland neighborhood of Pittsburgh. They are two cities and two months apart.

No Arenas, and a Few Conspicuous Holes

Every room on this tour is a theater, a music hall or a jazz club. The biggest are the Chicago Theatre and The Met in Philadelphia at roughly 3,500 seats each, with the Beacon, the Tabernacle and DPAC close behind. There is no arena date and no Las Vegas residency-style run.

The map has real gaps. Canada gets exactly one night — Vancouver — with no Toronto, Montreal or Calgary. There is no Boston proper (Medford is the Boston-area booking, at the Chevalier just over the city line), no San Francisco proper (Oakland covers the Bay Area), no Miami on the theater run at all, and nothing in Indianapolis, Milwaukee, Baltimore, Charlotte or Buffalo. Nothing is announced outside North America.

With most of these as single nights in rooms that sell out, added second shows in the bigger markets would be the obvious next move. None has been announced.

Frequently Asked Questions

When do Eric Andre Subtle tickets go on sale?

General on-sale is Friday, October 23, 2026, at 10 a.m. local time, through Ticketmaster. The Kravis Center in West Palm Beach confirms the same date and time for its August 12 show, with its box office opening at noon. The artist presale ran October 21 using the code DICKWOLF, and a free Live Nation All Access presale has been running today on select dates.

How many dates are on the Subtle tour?

40 theater dates in 40 cities, March 10 through August 15, 2027. No city appears twice. The performance count is higher than 40, because the Honolulu date on April 2 is a two-show night at Blue Note Hawaii.

Is Eric Andre playing an arena on this tour?

No. Every announced room is a theater, music hall or club. The largest are the Chicago Theatre and The Met in Philadelphia.

Does the tour come to Boston, San Francisco, Miami or Toronto?

Not under those names. Medford, Massachusetts on April 16 is the Boston-area date, and Oakland on May 19 is the Bay Area date. There is no Miami theater date — Miami gets a club run at the Improv on November 20–22, 2026 instead. Toronto is not on the schedule; Vancouver on May 22 is the only Canadian stop.

What is Eric Andre known for?

He created, hosted and wrote Adult Swim's The Eric Andre Show, which ran from 2012 to 2023 and won him the 2024 Primetime Emmy for Outstanding Performer in a Short Form Comedy or Drama Series. He voiced Banzai in The Lion King (2019), Luci across 50 episodes of Netflix's Disenchantment, and roles in The Mitchells vs. the Machines, Sing 2 and Trolls Band Together; on camera he starred in and co-wrote Bad Trip, played Mike on Man Seeking Woman and Lyle Lisson on The Righteous Gemstones, and appears as ring announcer Don Sauvage in the new Street Fighter. His stand-up special Legalize Everything has been on Netflix since June 2020.

Where can I get tickets?

On-sale status and ticket links for every date above live on the Eric Andre page, which we refresh every six hours. You can also see who else is out on the road right now on our tours page, browse shows by city in our comedy listings, or find a room near you in the comedy club guide.
