The Addison Improv has anchored comedy in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex for decades, bringing the Improv chain's national booking pipeline to one of the busiest comedy markets in the country. Located in Addison's restaurant row just north of Dallas, it runs the classic dinner-and-a-show club format.
Weekend headliners here are frequently theater-level names playing club rooms — DFW's size means the Improv can book comics who sell thousands of seats elsewhere for intimate multi-show runs — while weeknights showcase the deep Texas comedy bench.
Alongside Hyena's and the arena-and-theater circuit downtown, the Addison Improv is the reliable center of Dallas club comedy: national names, every weekend, all year.
